Helping Businesses Grow with Confidence Since 1968

Growth changes everything.

The systems that supported a company in its early years don’t always support what’s next. Warehouse space runs short. Operations become more complex. Customers expect more. Before long, what began as a storage challenge has become a logistics challenge.

That’s the point where many businesses discover they don’t simply need more warehouse space.

They need the right logistics partner.

Since 1968, C&O Warehousing has helped manufacturers, distributors, importers, and growing businesses navigate those moments with confidence. As a third-party logistics (3PL) company, we provide flexible warehousing, fulfillment, and warehouse logistics solutions that allow customers to grow without the cost and complexity of building their own logistics operation.

Our story has never been about becoming the biggest logistics company. It’s been about becoming a better partner with every passing year.

The services we provide have changed dramatically over the past six decades.

The reason we provide them hasn’t.

Our job has always been to remove the logistics challenges that stand between our customers and their next stage of growth.

A Company That Grew by Helping Others Grow

C&O’s story began with a single customer.

Founder Wayne Cawley had previously owned an electronics business and worked closely with IBM. After selling that company, IBM approached him about providing warehouse space for its operations. What began as a contract warehouse soon expanded into a second facility, creating opportunities to serve additional customers throughout the region.

The company itself was founded by Wayne Cawley and his business partner, Mr. Odell. Although Mr. Odell passed away before the business truly got underway, the name remained. Today, C&O still reflects the partnership on which the company was founded.

When IBM eventually brought its warehousing back in-house, C&O didn’t stand still.

It adapted.

As customers’ needs evolved, so did the company. Full-pallet storage expanded into pick-and-pack operations. Fulfillment grew into ecommerce support. Warehouse management technology replaced handwritten inventory cards. Today’s flexible logistics solutions exist because yesterday’s customers needed something new.

Looking back, nearly every chapter of C&O’s history has been written by the same idea:

When our customers grow, we grow with them.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help businesses grow with confidence by providing flexible warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics solutions built around their unique operations. Through dependable service, operational excellence, and lasting partnerships, we help our customers keep products moving while they stay focused on growing their business.

Relationships Built to Last

Warehousing is ultimately about trust.

Customers trust someone else with the inventory they’ve worked hard to build. They trust shipments will arrive where they should. They trust inventory will be managed accurately and treated with care.

Trust isn’t earned through square footage.

It’s earned one relationship at a time.

That’s why personal service has remained one of C&O’s greatest strengths for nearly sixty years.

Our customers aren’t anonymous account numbers routed through a national call center. They’re people we’ve often worked alongside for years. We know their businesses. We know their operations. Sometimes we know their families.

When someone here experiences a loss, customers have sent flowers.

When someone welcomes a new baby, congratulations cards arrive.

Long before “customer experience” became a marketing phrase, these relationships were simply how C&O did business.

That personal connection continues to set us apart today.

Large Enough to Handle Your Growth. Small Enough to Know Your Name.

Growth changes what businesses need from a warehouse.

Some require seasonal overflow storage.

Others expand into ecommerce.

Many need fulfillment, distribution, inventory reporting, or flexible warehouse logistics that simply weren’t necessary a few years earlier.

C&O has continued growing alongside those needs.

Today, we provide contract warehousing, third-party fulfillment, warehouse logistics, inventory management, cross-docking, and distribution support that allow customers to scale without changing providers as their businesses evolve.

At the same time, we’ve intentionally held onto something that’s becoming increasingly uncommon.

Since 1968

Accessibility.

When you call C&O, you’re speaking with people who already know your account.

People who understand your operation.

People who see themselves as part of your success.

That’s the difference between working with a warehouse vendor and working with a logistics partner.

The Values That Guide Every Partnership

Nearly sixty years in business have reinforced a few simple beliefs.

For nearly sixty years, our growth has followed the growth of our customers. We’ve never viewed success as getting bigger for its own sake. We measure it by how well we’re helping the businesses we serve reach their next milestone.

Details matter.

Accurate inventory. On-time fulfillment. Clear communication. Reliable logistics isn’t one big moment. It’s hundreds of small things done well, every single day.

Every warehouse operation is different. Rather than forcing customers into a standard process, we build flexible solutions around the way their business actually works.

Protecting our employees, facilities, and customers’ products is fundamental to everything we do.

The logistics industry doesn’t look the way it did in 1968.

Neither do we. We’ve continued adapting our services, embracing new technology, and improving our operations so customers can meet changing demands without changing logistics partners.

We build relationships inside our company so we can build stronger relationships outside it.

The trust our employees have in one another carries over into the trust our customers place in us. Collaboration isn’t just an internal value. It’s how we become an extension of our customers’ operations.

Looking Ahead Without Losing What Matters

Nearly sixty years of change have reinforced what matters most. Markets evolve. Technology advances. Customer needs shift. Through it all, we’ve continued adapting our business so we can help our customers do the same.

Our vision reflects that commitment.

Our vision isn’t simply to become a bigger company. It’s to become an even better partner.

As our customers continue growing and changing, we’ll continue growing alongside them while remaining the dependable team they’ve trusted for decades.
